Nostalgia time

I got nostalgic today after watching The Princess Bride. And it's only the second time I've seen it! I laughed at the same bits and was shocked at the same bits, even though I had seen it before. I totally love that movie -I want to show Mum!

Everybody still wants to organise farewell drinks for me, but seeing as they are not having any luck trying to get me to come, they will have one in my honour without my attendance! So they are having a halloween party the night before I leave. Most ppl are dressing up. When someone leaves they always organise a farewell gift and get money from ppl. I did hear them discuss it, but I'm still not sure what they will get me. Maybe I can convince them to give me the money instead - I'll definitely need that!

I've been doing my research about the US. I do want to spend some time there and it looks like I'll end up doing so. But I'm still looking into it. I've got plenty of time. I'll just ask at the tourist office in Toronto. I know that there was an express ferry that takes you from Toronto to New York, but they went bankrupt. They promised they would re-open, and it would be great if they did in time for my travels. Keep your fingers crossed for me!

I'm working a 5 day week and tomorrow is day 3. Hopefully all will be fine. I missed my workout this morning and was planning on going tonight, but The Princess Bride got in my way. I'll be up super early tomorrow for it.
